Betting Odds

The spread: JMU -15.5 on DK
The total: 54 points
The moneyline: JMU -675, Georgia State +490
JMU is 4-4 against the spread this season, while Georgia State is 2-5-1. Six of JMU’s eight games have gone under the projected point total.
The first time JMU came off a bye week under Bob Chesney, they beat UNC 70-50. While it’s unlikely JMU’s inconsistent offensive attack musters up 70 points Saturday, there’s reason for optimism that the Dukes might improve upon their recent offensive showings with an extra week to prepare. Georgia State’s defense ranks toward the bottom of the Sun Belt in every major statistical category, as the Panthers have struggled to slow down opposing offenses.
