Dukes win CAA regular season title – JMU women’s basketball (24-4, 16-1 CAA) beat Drexel 58-47 despite just eight points from Kamiah Smalls. The Dukes weren’t perfect offensively, but used strong showings from Logan Reynolds, Jackie Benitez and Devon Merritt to beat the CAA’s second-best team. The trio combined to score 36 points on 15-26 shooting from the field.
Logan Reynolds is a joy to watch – The energetic and scrappy point guard looked for her shot early and played a strong game for the Dukes. She finished with eight points, eight assists, four rebounds, one steal and zero turnovers. Statistically speaking, she’s one of the most efficient point guards in the country.
Up next – JMU plays Delaware (16-13, 11-6 CAA) on Saturday on Senior Day.
