JMU Lacrosse to Host Temple

Last time out – JMU beat Rutgers 10-7 behind yet another strong defensive showing. 

Temple visits Harrisonburg – JMU hosts Temple (3-5) on Saturday. The Dukes look to move their winning streak to seven games. 

National standing – After a season-opening loss to UNC, the Dukes have looked the part of a national title contender. The young players are developing nicely, and experienced upperclassmen like Hanna Haven are stepping up. Here’s where the Dukes stood on a national level coming into this week. 

Up next – After hosting Temple on Saturday, JMU hosts Virginia in a major showdown between national powers. The Dukes host Maryland next Sunday. Next week’s schedule features two national title contenders. Things aren’t getting easier for the Dukes, who hope to perform better than they did against UNC in their upcoming top-5 matchups.
