JMU escaped a close call – The Dukes (18-8, 2-1 CAA) led VMI (5-19) 9-2 heading to the bottom of the seventh. JMU allowed five runs in the ninth inning before escaping with a 9-8 victory.

Tre Dabney keeps on keeping on – The freshman is playing out of his mind. He went 2-5 with a triple and a home run in the victory. He’s putting together a monster season in his first collegiate campaign.
