The losing streak ends – JMU (20-17, 4-8 CAA) took two of three games from William & Mary to win the series and end its nine-game losing streak. Put your socks on, people. We don’t have to count the losing streak any longer.

Game 1 – JMU lost 7-1. Kevin Kelly struggled again, and the bats never woke up. The losing streak grew to nine games.

Game 2 – JMU won 3-1. JMU trailed 1-0 entering the top of the eighth before scoring three runs in the inning to eventually earn the win. It was a gutsy team performance.

Game 3 – JMU won 5-3. The Duke fell behind 2-0 through five innings, but scored five runs in the final four innings to pick up its second consecutive win. JMU hopes these wins can jump start a winning streak and help the team get back into the top six positions of the CAA

Up next – JMU travels to Maryland on Tuesday before hosting St. Bonaventure for Thursday and Friday home games.
