Righting the ship – JMU hopes to break a two-game losing streak when it hosts San Diego State (8-3) on Saturday. Luckily for the Dukes, the Aztecs aren’t a top-10 team, and SDSU is 0-2 on the road.
Keys to the game – As always, draw controls and defense are critical for the Dukes to win. JMU is 1-3 when allowing 10 or more goals and 6-0 when holding teams to fewer than 10 goals. If the Dukes can keep the Aztecs off the board, it’ll take pressure of their young offense.
Expectations – The Dukes, ranked 10th nationally, are the better team. JMU should expect to break its losing streak against a quality foe.
